I too decided to make my own cables... I found a source for ANCOR mil spec marine cable in 2AWG and 4AWG sizes... This brand of cable is super flexable... ANCOR also makes their own ring terminals... I found a $50 8-ton hand crimper tool as well I was able to make some very nice HD battery cables. Knowing me, I will always be making up cables for something...
