The WFCO blurb is one thing, but do you know if yours does that? Many don't due to wiring issues etc. Do you see the 14.6 ever? (Assuming you have a meter so you can tell) Are your batteries ok (by hydrometer!) having been under that converter's care?
30 amps (assumes 8930, not a "30a" system (ie 120v 30a) is very low for a bigger battery bank, so your gen time will be very long, waste of gen time. Your gen can take up to a 60 amp charger, so for the winter time , no solar, you could go to a higher amp converter.
I prefer the PowerMax LK models with their adjustable voltage choice that most converters don't have. There are other choices. Anyway, it is not long now till the warm half of the year when solar works best, so no hurry if the WFCO is doing 14.6 and the batts are ok by SG. Next Fall with the four 6s for sure though IMO.
