Technical Factoid Question
I was watching a video of Solar Charger Controller and wiring installation and they said to put the charge controller within 5 feet of the battery? Is this because they only provided 5 feet of wiring or the run between the charge controller and the battery has to be kept short due to voltage drop.
If I had to put the charge controller that close to my batteries I would not be able to view the display although it does have a bluetooth feature.
My planned charge controller mounting location and batteries would be a distance of 20 feet!
