I use a buss bar. All connections to the battery banks except for the temperature sensors are made on the buss.
Make sure you NEVER turn off the battery from the controller with the panels active, or you may let out the magic blue smoke.
I don't think a 200 amp fuse is quite large enough for the inverter.
Since I have twin battery banks, I use a pair of 350 amp fuses, for catastrophic protection, one for each battery directly on the positive post.
