I got my Inverter today and was able to place it for the distance of my cable run. Positive cable would be 5 feet but by the time I add a short jumper for the disconnect switch and the inline fuse It may be closer to 6 feet. The way my battery bank is wired the positive cable is on battery (A) and the ground cable is on battery (D) a longer run about 7 +/- feet.
With these distances I have convinced myself to go with 4/0 cable. I have found a local welding supply that sells 4/0 welding cable at $7.40 a foot.
Any thoughts?
