If the battery with the lower cells is left in the bank, it will drag down the other good batts. You could do better without it. Now you have solar you could get by with a smaller bank in the summer.
I was watching the Meter that I installed through a Shunt in the battery box. The Meter is in the cabin so I could watch it at the same time as operating the microwave.
This might be a two person test next time. Interesting point about removing the weak battery.
