I have had a 3 burner camp chef for 8 years. Absolutly love it.
I have the BBQ grill box in one burner size and we lover it. Never had issues with it dripping on burner. I alway crank the burner on high after cooking to clean it off.
Also have the two burner size grill with a handle and fat channel in front. Awesome unit for cooking breakfast for the gang.
I don't have flame difuser but am going to get or make some. I would help even the heat on the grill.
