As title states, can I stow Flow Pur softener on its side. Been using it for several years and stow it upright or semi upright. Can I just lay the thing flat? Would solve some storage problems in the ...

The Mark 8000 also comes with nylon caps to prevent leakage during transport.
You can store it on its side without fear of getting water in your luggage compartment or basement.
Twice a year perform a back flush of the system. Back flushing is preformed by feeding water into the outlet port of the system allowing water to flow out of the inlet connection at a rate of one (1) gallon per minute. This reverse flow process mechanically cleans the resin beads. Back flush for 5 minutes
If unit is to be regenerated perform back flushing first.
