Depends on what you call installed.
Before you install the first step is to TURN OFF the circuit breaker (or pull the power plug from shore)
After install you must restore power (Turn on Breaker, Plug back in) before you can use it.
Yes. you can use it ASAP after install. No problem it's ready to run out of the box. In fact the installer will likely do just that to make sure he got everythign right. - Tom_BarbExplorer III think I'd follow the instructions for testing the unit after installation.
- MrWizardModeratorhow long did t take you, set it in place, wire it up, bolt it down
its probably safe to run it - ScottGNomadYou might give it overnight for the oil to drain back where it belongs.
- joeshmoeExplorer IIII tilted it on end for the 5 mins it took me to slide it up the ladder. It was flat on the roof thereafter.
- ScottGNomadUnless they were stored in some odd postion, like on end. Otherwise fire that baby up!
- If you tilted it when installing NO. If it sat more than a few hours sideways or upside down I would wait. Doug
- newman_fulltimeExplorer IIi run them as i finish installing them
