Hi Again, I wrote a while back re delamination and I'm camping now and it seems that it is growing. It is located right above wheel skirt and has now reached the fridge vent. I have spoken to dealer who will look to see if it's the fridge leaking. I did have seals inspected last mo and was told all good. The tube outside the vent no longer drips water so the thought is it is the fridge has been leaking and creating this. We leave for 3 weeks and will need the fridge. Any advice on what I can do in the meantime before I see the dealer or am I up the creek without a paddle?

I don't see hoe a delamination issues impact using the fridge or not.I also doubt if the fridge is the issue for the delamantion since it would be working out from there, not to it.

I would take the fridge vent off and follow the tube back to the fridge. Look around inside and see if there is any sign of water damage.

you want to make sure that the tube is indeed connected to the drip tray spout and that the water from the drip tray in the fridge is making its way out the tube. After you have checked the tube routing / connection, take a small amount of water and pour it into the drip tray and watch where it goes... you can even put some food dye in the water to be able to see the path more readily. You don't want water in the fridge "operating area" (pipes, heater, etc) as it will cause a rust problem especially on the tubes resulting in ammonia leaks and a dead fridge. The water tube on older models gets rigid and breaks readily.One other thing to check is to ensure that the roof vent for the fridge is not allowing water to run down inside the venting chamber and finding its way to the lower wall vent area.

Wow... thanks for this... I did forget to mention that the delam started above the skirt and is moving upward. If it was a roof issue I would think it would be starting somewhere near the top.

Although it sounds like the fridge drain is the culprit, with the delam right above the fender skirt you may want to look in this location really good.

I've seen more than afew with this condition and when towing on a wet road that luan soaks up water like a sponge and wicks right up the wall. Its done using the RV Industry mantra "out of sight, out of mind" just like wiring, plumbing, and everything else.

If it's still under warranty and if you haven't, one thing I'd do for sure is make sure it's well documented, especially on something that serious. Dealers can't be trusted. I would even consider emailing the manufacturer for the record.

We had a significant issue on our 1st TT from day one. After almost 12 months of the dealer balking at looking at it and emailing them many times, they finally gave in and did the repairs. Turned out to be a factory defect that would have cost us a fair bit to fix on our own.

Thank you for the suggestions. The dealer can't get me in before our 3 week trip so gotta wait until the end of August.
