Welcome to the forums, always nice to talk to some one new. Just for your information there is a section on how to post pictures and it is really simple to forllow 1492 is the Moderator that set it up.
Just attaching how ever you did it left me looking at the down on the wheel well and unable to see the entire picture. I would agree that what you see attached to the hoses is an old style water pump. Just because it is old doesn't mean it needs to be replaced but just in case it does, leave an access hole to get to it when you put the floor back.
Once again check out the sticky on posting pictures.
