My advice is to not bring up any opinions on global climate change or the current administration.There is a lot of resistance to that type of information on this Forum.

Yes,an acidic ocean climate may have some effect on electronics but just the salt-air environment is probably enough to play havoc. More likely, is Mex's observations of how electronic onboard component choices have fared, the already acceptable components being replaced by lesser ones that barely meet the design.
