Xantrex prosine 2.0 problem. Again
It's not passing the shore power (or Gen power) through to the rig. There are no error codes or messages.
It is in line with ONE leg of our 50Amp service. We are plugged into a 30Amp outlet. We have been here for over a month. Several weeks ago We had an error message which was cleared and were back to normal after a "hard reset". (Remove 120VAC AND the 12V battery negative cable.)
Tonight we realised that it had gone to INVERT, there being no AC input.
BUT:
The Intelec Power Management System is now showing 50 Amp connection.
The Xantrex remote shows no AC input.
We have 120VAC to the galley, dinette, bathroom and outside outlets.
The Xantrex is connected to LINE 1 of the incoming 50A service
The outlets that work are connected to LINE 2
These outlets are NOT energised when the inverter is in Invert Mode.
OF course with no AC input to the inverter we have no battery charging.
I tried the reset according to the manual: turn off for 5 minutes, no change.
At the moment it is dark and raining and I'm not into poking about outside.
I have left the 30Amp plug in place to give us power in the galley
The inverter is running to power the TV while we watch the news from home, the batteries, 4GC are showing 12.4volts. The fridge had been running on AC via the inverter before we noticed the problem. The fridge is food for another thread--it doesn't reliable run on LPG! It has since been plugged into a separate 15A outlet.
When we go to bed for the night I'll pull the 30A connection.
IF anyone has any ideas I'd be pleased to hear them.
Oh yeah, we're in southern Mexico. No such thing as a tech.
