For the inverter to last it needs to not be 'pushed' to the edge. If you have a 50 amp service I'd be tempted to move to a 24 volt battery bank and one of the 4000 watt hybrid units from Magnum or Victron.
The other route is to get separate components, i.e. a stand alone inverter and a stand alone converter. 2oldman is having great results from his switch to 48 volts and can now run everything including the roof air easily. His route was separate components.
I do hate transfer switches whether they are internal or external. Usually when one reads the 'fine print' it says to not switch under load.
My big problem is space: Aft of the electrical and battery compartments is engine etc, forward is the wet bay. The other bays are in slide outs which makes wiring etc much more difficult.
