Can't run a portable freezer on B&D battery station

I did similar in a vehicle. I used two group 24 gel batteries and a 2,000 watt inverter. I wired it to the car with a solenoid so the alternator provided power while the engine was running.

To build my system from scratch would be about $1,000.
