Another thing to check. Make sure the "bang" isn't coming from the slide seal wiper. When the side goes in, the wiper eventually will turn from sticking out along the slide, and when coming out the wiper does the reverse. Sometimes on ours, when the slide goes out, the bottom wiper "bangs" when the wiper comes over "center".
