Cb radio question

I'm new to this converter/inverter technology.
The DW and I are gonna be living in a tt full time in a park.
How can or would you install a 12volt cb radio in a tt ? I dont know if there are batteries in the tt yet as we won't be there till April 1 st.
Thanks !!

I have a CB RADIO under the seat of my truck with the squelch turned up all the way and the volume down low when on the road with my Trailers.

To be honest about all I ever hear is Truck traffic on Ch19 which is what I want to listen for keeping me informed of the road conditions in the immediate area around me. I very seldom communicate over the CB band...

It is also very vulgar on the CB these days as well... As they say it will make sailors blush..

At the campgrounds we have a couple of the FRS handheld radios to keep in touch with other. When down towns doing the shopping thing we always use the cell phones to keep in touch...

Same thing goes with Ham Radio and RV's... I can't remember when I have communicated with another RV'er using Ham Radio on the road. Certainly isn't like it used to be back in the 60s...

I Ham Radio every night in my RV but usually on my favorite ham nets and talking with my Ham Radio home friends...

What does any of this have to do with the OP's question?

Beemer pleaes delete the same in your reply...
  • Many things in a TT operate on 12vdc just like a car/truck. There shouldn't be any trouble finding a 12vdc supply for the radio.

The bigger issue may be the lack of an adequate ground plane for the antenna.
