CDN Solar Dealers

Looking for canadian solar dealers so I can avoid the currency exchange and UPS rape charges. I know about wegosolar and solarwholesaler, need more for a pending solar binge.

TIA
  • Have you tried having packages shipped Postal? We've found it to be much cheaper, if not as fast. No crazy stupid Broker fees
  • What about the Canada tax? It is probably less expensive to ship it than to pick it up locally, or buy it while on vacation in the US.

Look at prices at this place. SunELec.com

Compare that with your local dealer.

Also contact HomePower.com Magazine and see if they have any advertisers in your area.

  • As stated above you might consider picking it up across the border
The Montana border is not too far south
No Sales Tax, Low UPS shipping costs and your money is valuable down here
  • I bought controllers from Go Power! by Carmanah Technologies, a Canadian company. They also have solar panels and complete kits. I think they are in BC but not sure. They have web site.
  • I got my panels and controller from SAW Technology In Mississauga. His website is http://www.sawtechnology.com/ . He also sells on ebay.ca as "solarandwindtechnology" and has high satisfaction ratings for a large number of transactions. He has a large selection of panels and is very knowledgeable and in my opinion, well priced. He is a one man operation with low overhead - translation = he sells out of his garage. For pricing, check on ebay. I picked mine up from him so cannot comment on his shipping prices.
