Some Thinlite fluorescent fixtures have option of prismatic or opaque frosted lens. Choice is good.
I went the other way, from the milky opaque lens to the clear prismatic. Clear lenses pass about 20-30 percent more light. On fluorescent fixtures glare usually isn't a problem, the light is diffuse from the source.
