Hey Mex, what do you know about "Northern Pesos" anyway?
On CFLs, I can't compare with the newer sort of LEDs, but I have a CFL stuck into one of the 120v lamps we have in our rig and use it as a reading light. It draws much less in amps including the inverter to power it, than the twin 12v bulb lamp beside it, for at least as good a light.
I am happy with my CFL light. I have some older style LEDs that I don't like for reading, but I know there are better ones out now.
