LED is the only way to go in lighting. LEDs have surpassed all CFL & linear fluorescent, in terms of quality of light, energy efficiency, control, lifespan and environment. The only light source that still beats LED is the metal halide HID found only in commercial applications, but not for long.
In the next 5 years, the LED lighting market will be worth $57 billion. Everything will be LED.
