Champion 75531i 3100w Inverter/Generator Initial Review

I thought I'd post my intitial review of the Champion 75531i for anyone who is interested in one of these. I researched to death 3000w inverter generators. While I'd love to have a Honda or Yamaha, ...

The Honda 2000 has built in protection to keep it from destroying itself. It will rev up under load, that is another built in feature. That is not to say that they will put out 3,000 watts for hours on end. They won't. Mine runs my 13.5 AC as needed, not at the same time as other large loads. I wouldn't expect it to.
