I had the Champion 3500\4000 that was seldom used.
Found out that running high octane premium gasoline in it made all my starting problems go away.
The low quality gas in the tank was clogging the main-jet on occasion.
Difficult starting always happened when the generator sat for weeks not running.
It would start, then when I shut off the switch and retried it wouldn't start.
