if you have used it and not run the carb dry when you stopped it, you probably have a carb that needs cleaning. I turn the gas valve off, remove the load, and let it run until it stops. The passages in carb are very small and get clogged real easy if you leave gas in the bowl long enough to evaporate. Been there done that.
