if you mounted it external on a cargo rack...then yes - True_temperExplorerMine has metric studs coming out of the bottom, no bolts. Can you use it while driving?
- MrWizardModeratorreplace the bolts holding the rubber feet
use longer bolts to go thru the cargo rack thru the feet back into the generator frame/supports
loop a cable lock or covered chain thru the generator handles
put a removable box/cover over it when not using it, lock the cover to the cargo rack, now you have triple protection
i built a sliding drawer for mine in one of my storage compartments
slide out plug in turn on
at night, just slide it back in and lock compartment
same compartment first generator to use it - True_temperExplorerI can't believe no one has not mounted one of these, anyone???
- True_temperExplorerAny one have any photos, I can't figure it out thanks.
- MrWizardModeratorcargo rack with receiver lock
bolt generator to cargo rack, then use cable or chain around generator locked to receiver, and if still worried weld the nuts onto the bolts, so you have to use a grinder to cut them off
to cut down on vibration noise, put rubber pads or mat under feet before bolting to rack - HadEnoughExplorerIf you really want to be secure, bolt it on, then round off the heads of the bolts with an angle grinder.
When it comes time to unbolt it, use the grinder again to remove later.
