There are super-exceptions to many things. Size prohibitions versus demand is a very valid reason. Price to advantages determines the intelligence of spending 300% of the cost of an equivalent AGM.

Immunity of damage from part refill is valid enough but the saving of perhaps 80 pounds by itself seems week. Especially if there are 800 pounds of hand tools aboard.
Whether colonial or danish modern, the furniture will fit your butt the same. To spend three times the money is a personal choice, little to do with purely practical reasons. Is it justifiable? or is it a target for an excess of practical criticism? An ego bragging point around the office cooler or campfire?
