Charge voltage while running furnace

Honda 2000
Powermax 75 amp charger
Two sams club gc2 golf batteries
Propex 2800 furnace 2 amp draw

I normally charge at 14.8volts ,,,,, should I adjust my charge voltage higher when my furnace is running since my furnace sucks alot of juice?
If so what voltage?
Thanks
  • A pair of the light bulbs I replaced last weekends takes 2.5 amps. I can see a 2 amp fan on a Buddy heater to circulate air... but not a fan-forced system. I could be wrong though.
  • Two amps? TWO AMPS!

Give me the name of that furnace manufacturer please. My FLASHLIGHT draws more than two amps!

At 77F GC batteries need 14.8V in bulk mode. Don't increase unless it's really cold.
Drawn amps (or any amps) don't matter much, as long as you see proper volts on the battery terminals.
  • 2 amps is not a lot of juice. And even if it was the 14.8 voltage should not be increased.

    NO.
If that 14.8 is measured at the batteries, they don't know or care that the furnace is running.
  • amperage is what you care about, the chargers will go full speed up to your charge voltage, they generally will only be a lower voltage if they are at 100%, once the batteries start tapering the voltage will climb to your float voltage
