BFL13, We don't use the TV when camping, the Microwave isn't a necessity and for the foreseeable future, the Air Conditioner won't be a necessity either. Even a toaster isn't anything we can't do without. Actually, I've made some mighty fine toast on my Weber Q with the griddle attached so we will just be getting a charger for the batteries for now. I have a Duracell 600W Power Pack that I can use to charge cell phones and small things so I have that covered. As for batteries, I'll definitely be getting AGM batteries. I don't want to have to deal with checking the electrolyte levels and having to remember to equalize them every month. I have enough on my plate as it is. From what I've read, the AGM batteries can take up to 20% of the rated AMP Hours when charging. That's about 40 Amps if getting 2 batteries. Problem is, there are no 40amp chargers on the market anymore other than the old style stand up type with wheels. Stanley, Black & Decker used to make them but not anymore. Looks like I'll have to get something that can do 20amps at best.
