You don't want a fast charger in there, so far away from the batteries. You need your fast charger within six feet-- four is better, on #4 or fatter wire to get the rated amps.
Leave the WFCO as is and save a lot of bother. It works as a converter on shore power. Get a second charger as your fast charger.
BTW a single voltage charger that does constant amps is what you want, not to be confused with a simple voltage regulated charger which holds it voltage ok, but lets the amps taper from the start
Well, I guess I've ruled out the 4655 - 8955 swap. I've got 6ft of 2/0 in the front pass through running between my inverter and controller and the batteries that I can tap in to. That powermax at 100amps and adjustable to 15.5v looks ideal but spendy... $380ish? Friends helping friends spend money? lol. The 75a version is a hundred less. The PD9260 fixed 14.8v is $210 or so. I don't know the specs but I've 2 6v Crown 260amp bats that at 30 percent need or would like? 78amps. Decisions...
Specs are limited and manuals are non existant for most of these chargers. How do I recognize the "single voltage" charger that does constant amps.
(The PowerMax site shows a Boondocker 75w adjustable but "more info" throws me onto the Bestconverter site. Not sure what that's about.)
