A cheaper way, if you are handy, is this one. Also kiss the warranty good-bye :)
http://www.boatandrvaccessories.com/powermax-pm3-75-12-volt-75-amp-converter-charger.htmlBTW it is not PF corrected--ignore that ad. PF is 0.71ish by Kill-A-Watt. A Honda 2000 might run it or not at sea level--it will be close to maxed.
Take the lid off--drill out four rivets. Take the lid off. Put your voltmeter in the output terminals and find the little blue pot with the white screw --scrape away any goop on that.
Using a small screw driver like for eyeglass frames, turn the white screw till the voltmeter says 14.8 (or whatever you want) Put the lid back on, using metal screws instead of rivets.
Now you have the same as an adjustable after you have adjusted it. Don't play with the setting very often, the little pot doesn't seem very robust.
You might have a 15 minute thing at first where it goes to a higher voltage then drops after 15 minutes. If so, in the above procedure, wait for the 15 minutes to be up and then set the pot. Now put the lid on and leave it there. Then it will go to the right voltage you set after it has been on for 15 minutes. No biggie, once you get used to that feature.
