BFL13, I'm curious to know why you went back to a PowerMax without TC. If it's that important, is there something in your situation that makes it less important? Is it that you have the variable voltage unit and address it manually based on the temperature? Or was it that when the 4455 failed, you didn't want to risk getting another unit thinking that one would fail as well?
P.S. I don't think dry camping for 4 days is equivalent to living on Mars. I've seen Mars with my Celestron SkyProdigy Telescope. I'm thinking it's more like being on the Moon lol
