My two 6v 260a Crown specs ask for 14.22v pushing between 25 and 60amps at "phase 1". (16.2v for equalization.) A voltage adjustable charger next to the battery seems almost a given due to different temperatures and eventually different batteries, but what about amperage. A 100amp charger would be a total waste for me. My genny won't power it and the batteries can't use it. There are 75amp chargers but while I can borderline power it the Crown's don't want it. So are 55 or 60amp chargers all I'd want to look at anyway? I'm reading here that some things matter and some things don't. That cheating the specs here and there doesn't matter but I'm not savy enough to always know when that's prudent.
