I would expect it to be a little black plastic box about 3"x3"x4" and mounted somewhere on the side of the battery box - within 3 - 5' of the batteries. Probably has a green label on it.
Is it possible they were referring to the little trickle solar panel they like to mount on the roof of the MH, usually on top of the air conditioner?
