I see that when the engine is running, both batteries are charging according to the inside control panel. So, there is a path of sorts open from the Alt. to the batteries. But, as I stated above, only the house batteries are being charged by the ginny or the SP. The BIRD relay is next to the batteries, so how can one tell if and or when the charge should be coming through to the chassis batteries? I can check the voltage output, but if the relay is not energized, but should be....how would you be able to tell where the problem might be?
Now having made that statement, very recent in another post about a coach battery problem where the nearest/first connected 6 V battery to the charge terminal lossed most of it's electrolyte, I'm concerned that the problem may be a bit deeper than I suspected. Any thoughts in that respect? Thanks.
