Sounds like a tri-mark... Here is what you do
The deadbolts on a tri-mark are not bad but the striker bolt is a problem
Take the pieces (Do not loose the spring) to a good metal smith and have him carve you one out of genuine STEEL. that will last the life of your rig. Even Brass will outlast the cheap pot metal they use to make 'em.
