the check valve I replaced near water heater is making a humming sound when I turn on hot water any thing I can do to stop it from making noise

If you use an adjustable pressure regulator you can try changing the pressure a little. It may eliminate or change the frequency so it isn't as objectionable. Or you can upgrade or remove the check valve as others have said.
