- uncle_tExplorerI don't use the toilet, just use the campground's or GO OUTSIDE. I dump my grey water 50' away on the beach. Really?????
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerI used to flush a couple of hefty tablespoon's worth of chlorine bleach into the gray water tank. Took care of the odor problem. But then I liked to park on a beach and dump grey water 50' away into the sand. No, there was no one else around then except gulls. But zero odor problems.
Don't know about the EUA but down here we have a dishwashing soap called Axion "TriCloro". Positively eliminates gray water odor. - 4aSongExplorer

Once again? Seems to me you left out the words "when dumping" in the OP, hence the vent posts.
. Once again the odor is only noticed when dumping the gray tank...I don't know how the subject got to be focused on roof vents.
I don't know of anybody who doesn't get odor when dumping.
You are correct, one word dumping can make all the difference. - EsoxLuciusExplorerI don't even get odor when dumping the black.

We use Thetford Campa Chem in our BLACK tank and looking to find what chemicals should be added to the GRAY tank to reduce odor.
We're still Here.
The odor is when dumping the GRAY TANK only, we use paper plates and if anything is washed we thoroughly wipe the pots, pans, dishes, etc with paper towels before washing them. Once again the odor is only noticed when dumping the gray tank.

I don't care what it is. You have 2 - 38 gallon holding tanks with no vents!?
Congratulations. Where does the air come from to allow the fluids inside to drain to the outside? Ever held your finger on one end of a straw and wondered why the fluid inside that straw just sits there?
It either comes through an air admittance valve under the sink or it sucks the water out of a P-trap. - Bill_SatelliteExplorer III don't care what it is. You have 2 - 38 gallon holding tanks with no vents!?
