Most RV'ers do NOT put any food stuffs or grease down the sink in an RV.
Depending your time between dumps food just rots in a gray tank which is why most do not allow food scraps down the drain.
Also do not leave your gray or black tank open when parked in a CG. Waste and food will just 'sit' on the bottom of these dry tanks making for a stinky mess. Let tanks fill so there is water to move the stuff around and which allows it to exit when you do open the valves to dump.
That said.
I found that almost all grocery stores carry a store brand of lemon cleaner for a $1.00!
When it's time to dump the gray tank I first add half a bottle of this lemon cleaner down the sink, then dump. Keeps the tank grease free and odor free.
