Check with a local golf course and see where they buy golf cart batteries.
Also check with this magazine for suppliers of AGM batteries. HomePower.com
You might as well shop some solar suppliers too.
SunELec.com is one great place to buy solar panels, and they might have a AGM battery supplier too.
SolarOnSale.com is another.

Personally I would stay with lead acid batteries, because mine mount in free air. I understand where you are coming from, and would recommend AGM in your case, due to limited space to mount lead acid batteries and vent them.
You might also consider 12 volt AGM and locate three of them, one in the original location, the other two inside, where it is warmer, and they will be able to put out more amps on a cold day.
Also consider solar panels too. Your RV will use 35 amp hours daily just to run the CO meter, propane detector and refrigerator. This is about what one of my 120 watt panels will put out in 1 day, while parked in the sun.
