Imagine! Gloved Housewives brush in hand, found dead. Head hanging into toilet bowl.
Something younsters should know. Those TENS OF MILLIONS of VW beetles were highly touted by VW to be airtight...
In the late sixties or early seventies The National Lampoon magazine ran a two page color ad that looked exactly like a VW advertisement:
IF TED KENNEDY HAD BEEN DRIVING A VOLKSWAGEN HE'D BE PRESIDENT TODAY!
Airtight! Battery "boiling" under back seat!
And ummm how can I put this - without offending?
People loudly declaring a sealed VRB to be DANGEROUS in a leaky 30' RV? Must be vented wind-tunnel style.
Got gnus for some of you - the formaldehyde and polyethylene fumes in all that synthetic wood and transparent platic, carpet, and rubber is like you know, a billion times more toxic. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on Quicksilver doing walls, floor, and furniture in marine Teak back in the eighties. Some of you smoke (the "what" isn't important) and drink near lethal quantities of alcohol. Yet a few (let's hope it's limited to a few) insist on nothing but organic foodstuffs and shreik and rant about putting a seal recombinant battery inside a rig. I have gotten the giggles. I have to stop now...
