Hmmm .... doesn't one 6V battery putting out the same watts as one 12V battery need twice the current flowing between it's plates to do it ... especially since the last time I checked: Power equals Voltage times Current. I think maybe it does ... hence it probably better have thicker plates to last as long.
However ... I should drink some more coffee and scratch my head to figure out if the same is true for the power coming out of two 6 volters in series versus two 12 volters in parallel. Perhaps I may have to stand corrected and eat crow or pheasant, since my coffee cup is about empty. :h and :)
