- 3_tonsExplorer IIIAt 6.2 running amps for 5kbtu, compared to a rooftop Coleman11kbtu Mach 1 P.S. 9.0 running amps, I’d say that it’s not really all that efficient.
- rexlionExplorerI have read that these do not fare well with the bumps and bangs of going down the road. Ok for a house but not for an rv, they stop working and the mfr is no help.
There are other brands that will hold up to the pounding when mounted on a trailer tongue. I just got a RolliCool mini split, but I plan to leave it unmounted and carry it in the back of my suv while towing.
