Cola soda in holding tanks?
I was told to put a couple 2 liter bottles of cola in black tank to clean and freshen it. Anyone done this? Also gray tank. And it's supposed to clean light sensors. Hard on seals?

I don't know what acid you suggest resides on an auto battery terminal to which the Coca Cola is added.
That said, the technique was 100% effective and required very little or no wire brushing or other mechanical follow up.
We typically rinsed the terminals and battery case with water afterwards to prevent leaving a sugary syrup residue.
Again, this was 40-50 years ago.
