Coleman Faulkner awning parts

I own a 1996 Jayco 5th wheel. When we bought it found out the awning fabric was ripped and the spring tensioner are broke. The brand unfortunately is Coleman Faulkner and parts are scarce. So just wondering if anyone knows if any other brand has parts that will work with this kind? The fabric I am not worried about because that it universal. Any help would greatly be appreciated. I'm starting to regret selling my Hornet travel trailer I had:(. Thank you Sandy

  • If it is the Faulkner with the black cast end pieces, I have used the spring from an A&E 8300 Sunchaser to repair these- I used only the spring itself, and had to do a bit of fabricating (nothing serious at all though). I wish I had taken pictures.
  • Faulkner hardware is non existent. Fabrics for all awnings are universal. You can use almost any brand replacement fabric. But, the fact remains, IF you need fabric, you have a 20 year old awing, why waste money on a discontinued product? If the awing needs repaired, just replace with a Dometic or Carefree. No other hardware parts will work with your Faulkner. Doug
