No, the duty cycle was right but the speed was off :)
I didn't consider that rpm may affect the current that much. Anyway, 120 (or even 150) Ah a day is what I would expect total for these 2 units on a hot day. This is ~700W solar. And another 50-70 AH for other loads, so this is another 400W. 1.1-1.2 KW sounds right. What's the problem, get 1.5KW if there is enough space.
It's still interesting that they use BD35 in units that big. Maybe they expect all the boaters (main group of consumers so far) to add insulation, because they do this anyway.
