That link shows that Deka makes 11 different flooded 31's, and only 3 of them are 'dual purpose' and they don't bother listing AH or RC figures.

I had an Exide Nautilus g27 once. Dang thing spewed electrolyte every time I drove.

Yes, that's what happens when you use an automotive alternator/VR system to repetitively recharge a deeply discharged battery.
That's why so many complain of short lived deep cycle batteries, no limit to the power flow rate from an automotive system. Deeply discharged deep cycle batteries have an extremely low internal resistance so the charge rate often exceeds the battery's ability to dissipate enough heat to prevent boiling the electrolyte.
