The cheap-o-watt is now the ho-hum-o-watt. Mid thirties for price. But it'll do the job. Does a great job at floating the batteries but I wouldn't trust it without disconnecting from potential loads. Connected to a series load it is the perfect answer to equalization and top charging. Cheaper n snot compared to the alternative. Try 160-amps @ 30-volts for top charging that I'm forced to do. Sure glad I got that 4/0 tinned teflon wire at the Lockheed auction for fifty cents a pound. A pallet with 500' spool. Needed a forklift with extended forks. The pure silver gold clad four conductor 16-gauge Kapton wire was a score. The guy sitting next to me moaned "That's an errer! That wire cost us seventeen dollars an inch!" The interior lights of the bus loves it.
I talked John Marles down to $65 shipped for the 40-amp Megawatts. The 600-watt booster on eBay with adj current limiting took a hike. I have one.
Keep everyone posted por favor whatever you do.
