Conditioning/"formatting" new batteries: update in 1st post

I guess solar depends on whether a person seeks or avoids sunlight playing across the roof of a rig. Down in the lower latitudes anyone who seeks a parking in the sun is deserving of a heavy shirt that buttons up the back. Canadians park in the sun so their kitchen cabinets can thaw the permafrost. Sorta makes the concept cloudy when a person has the generator and AC going to cool down the unit so the panels can charge the batteries.
