So, from the original post, the unbalanced loads are being detected, albeit at appartently erroneous voltage levels. So, the unit is not completely out to lunch, just half way. :)
I don't know anything about this but: Would it be the erroneous voltage levels on the digital read-out telling the automatic transfer switch to shut down then? So maybe just need to replace a couple parts (digital read-out and ATS)??
