CONNECTING A PAIR OF 12V LED PLATES FOR 24V SYSTEM?

Before I get all crazy and order a bunch of 12 volt "placas" LED plates and wire them in series I think it wise to ask if someone out there has done this successfully... With a resistive or tungste...

It won't be any problem as long as you keep the modules in a series pair.

The LED drivers are either a power supply for the high end modules or just a series resistor to limit the current through the cheaper modules.

I have LED modules in our remote cabin and have had them in all of my campers and the efficacy is getting better all the time.

Go for it.
